Today I feel...

full of love - happy - anxious - proud - confused - optimistic - worried - grateful

No, I don't have cyclothymic disorder! I'm just a mom!

March 1st, 2017

At Gingerscraps there is a scrapping contest and this week's challenge is to scrap a page with the theme "Today I feel...". That morning while walking with Zoe sleeping at her stroller, I got to think about my feelings and my emotions ever since she's born. Overall, I'm happy, but there are many more, even negative feelings that I experience every single day. I'm happy that she's here, I'm grateful to have her, but I'm also anxious about our future, I am worried and stressed. But I guess that's what parenthood is. Not everything is black or white. On my journey of trying to be a better mom, I have to give space to all of my emotions, allow them to grow, evolve and trasform into something positive.

About the photo: The challenge at GingerScraps required a photo. I could have taken a picture of Zoe sleeping peacefully at her stroller. Instead I chose one of the many flora photos I shot that day on our walk. This is probably my favorite: pink cherry blossoms against an old, dry pine. Because spring is finally here!
