my oh my, during our summer
trip to Nana Carol’s in Texas
you found something... your voice,
you have always loved to talk,
but Texas really helped you
let loose, you told stories, sang
songs, and started every day
excited and full of information.
I wish I could have recorded some
of your long explanations of why
“the ground is down and the sky
is up” or your description of what
the kitty was thinking!
