Since the boys were more interested in the holidays this year than in the past, we decided to take them to see the CTA Holiday Train. I figured it would be best to catch it at the Linden station since that would be under some cover if the weather got bad. We got there with plenty of the time to spare & when the train finally arrived the boys were fascinated with all the lights & then . . . Santa! Unfortunately, we were so caught up in seeing Santa that we missed getting on the train in time to take a ride. Whoops. Ian & Jake were pretty upset about not getting on the special train like they had been promised so we had to promise that we would catch the Yellow Line Holiday Train the next night. Good thing we live near several different CTA lines!
