You made your appearance exactly one month ago today and I’m still overjoyed by the reality that this tiny, sweet, baby girl is mine.  Not one day goes by that I haven’t relived a memory from your birth, or paused to reflect on how blessed I feel to be raising you as my daughter.  And to be privileged enough for you to call me Mom. I  was expecting a little mini Bianca, based on your ultrasound, and while it’s easy to see you’re both cut from the same cloth, there are distinctive features that are absolutely yours.  The grand tuft of hair, your dimple.. and the grunting!  Oh, the noise!!  My child, I’ve never met a newborn as loud as you.  At 4AM it’s both endearing and maddening at the same time.  I’ll have you know, you came out just a jabbering.  There were a few little squeals, but then, as you were placed on my chest, you talked and talked and talked.  I was mesmerized.  I can’t wait until the day you can share all your stories with me.  And I will be waiting with baited breath because you, my sweet daughter, are all I’ve ever waited for.
