Journaling reads: From as far back as I can remember, I have been drawing. It is something I am good at, so I guess it is no wonder that my children are picking up my talent. The awesome thing about this is my youngest, who is 6 yrs old, has been really paying attention in art class at school. She comes home talking about all the different artists, what their lives were like, and the different things they painted. She recently learned about Vincent van Gogh and decided one night to draw his “Starry Night" from memory. We were shocked at the detail she remembered, as evidenced in the picture. I am very proud to know that art is becoming a part of my children’s lives.
