journaling: My mom was so thrilled when Carly finally reached the doll-loving stage in life. Not only could Grandma now buy dolls and accessories for Carly, but she started gathering patterns and fabric and sewing little dresses, baby gowns, and other outfits for the dolls. Every Christmas and birthday, Carly would look forward to one or two new outfits to open and dress her dolls in. It’s a shame that Carly is getting older so quickly - that fun phase is passing by and Grandma will be left to play dress-up with the dolls all by herself.
