JOURNALING: 6/6/14: A baby red tail hawk in Ithaca NY was exercising its wings when a gust of wind came along and swept it off its nest box ledge. Fortunately it glided to a nearby window ledge, where it hung on by a TALON until, with more wing-flapping, it was able to pull itself up to safety.
