The Charles H. Morris Center was rocking as the Ils Sont Partis Band (also known just by their leader’s name, Buckwheat Zydeco) raised the roof with their unique version of zydeco music. Zydeco was developed in the mid 1800’s combining traditional Cajun music with blues and rhythm and blues. Buckwheat Zydeco is the first zydeco act ever signed to a major record label. Jimmy Fallon invited the band to play with him and The Roots on his final “Late Night” show. 3/20/15
