I’m so thankful to our Lord for you Chuck! When you were born I had no idea what what to do with you!! Thankfully, the Lord makes little ones pretty resilient! The Lord sure knew my short-falls!!
No one was more surprised than I was when you actually lived through your first birthday with a mom that didn’t know what she was doing. I think it actually surprised many people.--including my mom! You should have heard her holler when we took you camping when you were 10 days old!! haha!!
I’m sure she thought we were totally nuts!! Maybe we were, but you can believe me when I say there was never a day we didn’t love you totally!! --Even in spite of shooting the neighbors cat.!! Some days were more trying than others!! Thanks to the Lord that you turned out pretty well in spite of having parents that didn’t know much about raising
kids!! We hope you have as many good memories as we do!!. Happy Birthday Son!! We Love you dearly, and are so thankful for you--and for the way God has molded you into the man you are today. Remember, no matter how old you get, you’ll always be our sweet little boy--the one that stepped into the wading pool with his bran new shoes on!!
