JOURNALING:  New Year’s Day 2015


I flew to Columbus for my mother’s upcoming birthday on January 4.  Since I arrived on the first, we prepared and enjoyed several types of hot hors d’oeuvresand little sandwiches at our New Year’s Day celebration.


1. One of the hot appetizers was “pigs in a blanket” made with crescent rolls and Vienna sausages. 2. The little sandwiches were egg salad, ham salad, or pimento cheese. 3. Karon and I both love the marinated water chestnuts wrapped in bacon.  YUM.
