What a fabulous capture!! I love that you took the time to capture, record and beautifully scrap something that is so simple, but clearly brings him such joy. the artsy treatment is really cool and that you combined it with some fun textural elements and the sunglasses. I like the orange frames, too.
Great page! I second everything that glee wrote and then some. For one thing, the detail in your design is fabulous. For example, using a keychain and tag to record the date. For another, the chicken wire and bristly rings add great-looking textural effects, and the edge work and white space are marvelous. Very nicely done! I hope the motorbike is now fixed and usable once again.
Thank you soo much @Glee and @MsKinsey!! You are both soo kind!!! I realise I have missed scrapping with this type and more "realistic" type kits... Need to hit the shops and see if GingerScraps has more kits like that.. Really enjoyed putting this together... @MsKinsey - he's rebuilding the bike from scratch so it still has a way to go before it can hit the road... Once he put that part in, he discovered something else wrong... but lucky it was an easy fix and he was able to have it start once he bought the part. He even sent us a video of what I've fondly nicknamed his "Skeletor bike" as all it's inards are currently showing lol
