Journaling Reads: It was nice to sit down and just be able to relax and create. My goal for this year is to be more creative. And I am off to a very good start. After winning a layout of the month at one scrapping site and a featured layout for another designer’s monthly newsletter ... I have realized that I need to up my game ever more with all the amazing digital scrapbookers out there. I seem to find inspiration in the strangest places. But there is nothing better than being able to sit down and make what is in your brain become a reality on the screen.

What a great photo! I love how you used the photo of the template that you scrapped. Very cool idea. The simple background paper with the stamped on title accents your beautiful clustering very well!

I totally get where you are coming from. I've decided the same thing for myself this year - even applying for guest CT spots I never would have tried before. It's a boost in confidence when something you have done is recognized.

I love grid paper, and you've done a wonderful job of creating a layout about a field that often uses ruled, lined, and grid papers to execute new designs. Sweet! Great colors, and the placement of all the embellishments is spot on. Smile
