First of all, unrelated to your layout r your avatar made me laugh out loud! I love that splattered, bright colored background with the black & white photo. Very cool the way you added journaling in the more solid spots. Love it & your avatar is still making me laugh!!  

Your layout is great! I love the way you have the lime green and the blue together. The smile on your paper stacking is wonderful. I love the black and white treatment on the picture.
