A PIECE OF HISTORY - Above is an artist’s rendition of Trematon Castle located in Saltash, Cornwall, England where one of my “Greats,” Thomas Archdeacon, was born in 1228. Left is Trematon Castle today. The round tower is called “The Keep” and was the place of last resort to flee to during an attack. Also remaining are most of the perimeter walls and one of the large towers. I am amazed (and thankful) that anything is standing after 800 years!!
