Journaling : I’ve had such a busy time! There is so much to think about when building a new home! I had discussions with the builder. looked at tiles, puzzled over appliances, gazed at the kitchen dreaming of how it will look, stressed over the granite delivery and generally ran myself to physical and mental exhaustion!
I didn’t do enough in terms of relaxation. I did walk almost everyday. When I went to drop the car to Maitu, she joined me with Miwek for a walk along the river. I walked from there to Geeta’s home and spent a nice evening chatting. Geeta also drove me to Mark’s office so a bit more of catching up. One day I went with Nimmie, Ravi and Mouli for a walk around Albert Park and then to a cafe lunch. in St Kilda. On the 28th, we went cake tasting in this lovely bakery in Oakleigh called Nikos. I never knew how lively this area is! The cakes were delicious and the designs pretty. Maitu and Jen decided on what they liked and booked it in.
