For our 10th birthday we went camping at Uncle Bobby’s Mom’s cabin near Mountain. Aunt Mel and Grandma surprised us by decorating the campsite with balloons. By the time we got there it was close to dark and Grandma had another surprise for us after we got the tents put up. She brought a cake mix and decorations for us to each do our own birthday cake in the pudgy pie makers. Making cake over the fire was really fun but not as much fun as being able to use as much frosting and decorations as we wanted.

Great journaling! I love the photo strip at the top! The stars and tree elements paired with the wooden background are just perfect!

That sounds like so much fun!! What a great thing to do with the grandkids. I like the rustic bg paper and tree elements highlighting the camping trip event and the star scatters providing the celebratory birthday feel.
