Rusty was a shelter kitty that my Mom adopted. He was definitely her cat & he had little to do with anyone else. He wasn’t too fond of me since I was the one that gave him medicine and took him to the vet. I also brought my two cats to visit him ... they were not friends. When my Mom passed away, there was no question he would join our family. And over time, he has become MY cat and I think he even likes me .... at least a little bit.
