Journaling: When Raewyn & Brendan visited Venice they had not enjoyed Murano so we skipped this and after St. Marks took a vaporetto to Burano and were so glad we did! What a fascinating place it was! We just loved they colourful buildings, the shops, the lace, the generally fun vibe of the island. We ended the day at a pavement restaurant – this we enjoyed so much we ended up being very late for our return trip to our lovely apartment in Venice!
