LOOKING OUT MY WINDOW - Today it snowed. When I opened my eyes early this morning and my room was filled with light, I knew it snowed. We waited for it for months and FINALLY, it snowed. Looking out my 2nd story window this is what I saw: rows of brown houses suspended in white, that only hours before was blue sky and dried yellow grass; two little boys whose desire to play made work seem fun, as they went house to house shoveling walks and driveways and porches, without being asked to do it; a curious old hound dog stepping cautiously at first and then rolling and jumping and darting like a pup; and lastly, boys dressed in jeans and tennies, toting plastic lids from storage bins up the hill, to slide back down again . . . and again . . . and again . . . Oh! The joy and wonderment that is SNOW! Template:
