The horn sounds outside signaling it’s time to hit the road. They’d been planning this road trip for a long time. A last hoorah to a world that was on the cusp of change. Stepping out the door she sees the squad standing around Evie’s mustang. It’s time to hit the road. They dive into the car and MJ hits the gas and they peel out from the curb leaving the smell of burning rubber in their wake.
