Road Trip MEGA Collab by the Gingerbread Ladies
Journaling: Whether it’s a trip to Niagara Falls, New York City, Vermont or just up the road to a Maine fair, I can always count on a fun time with my friends Kim, Kelly & Tracey. We’ve known each other for a whole lot of years, and we’ve had countless adventures together. We need to plan another summer getaway! Who knows where we might travel to next, but I know for sure that any place we go will be that much more fun with all four of us there together. Just don’t ask me to man the video camera...but that’s another story!
EDITED to tell the video camera story! There was a time when we went to visit Ben and Jerry's Ice Cream factory in Vermont, about 5 hours from home. I was riding in the backseat and in charge of videotaping the event. This was back in the days of the big heavy video cameras with batteries that didn't last.... well, not long enough anyway.
Long story short - I spent so much time videotaping the conversations in the car, the scenery out the window, etc. that by the time we got to our destination, the camera was dead. Oops! I've never lived that down!
