Journaling: Why is Lillian crying so hard?:

1. Is it because Grandmommy and Granddaddy are getting ready to leave.

2. Is it because they just found out their plane is delayed.

3. Or is it just because it is naptime for Lily.

Doesn’t matter tears still are so sad.

Well here we are at the airport

in Bangkok and getting ready to head through security.

We got our last hugs

and took our last family picture.

It doesn’t make it any easier to walk away as Lily cries her eyes out.

oh that pic is heart wrenching Karen! I'm sure it was a combo of all. Partings are hard. I like that you captured the flight schedule signage though, really gives it that sense of place. I am in awe of your quickness, I really have to think about this challenge. good luck, dear.

I totally feel for this sentiment - I'm a grandmother 1500 miles from my grandsons. It is so very hard every time we have to say goodbye. Great layout.

Very sweet layout! I could not imagine being away from my grandchildren, her little tears tore at my heartstrings. Your clusters are so pretty and your journaling is amazing. I struggle so much with journaling, but you make it look so easy! Nice job! Good luck!

I would prefer to think she was unhappy that you were leaving, right! Love the blended edges of the photo and the journaling is done so well. Love the journaling strips. The page composition is overall extremely pleasing!

What a great page, and poor little Lillian! I bet she doesn't even know why she's crying, but you're right - tears are always sad. I hope you had a great family visit, and made lots of wonderful memories, and that Lillian woke up feeling better after her nap.
