Not counting the kids, grandkids and family- - one thing I miss most in Nebraska are the Runza sandwiches. We cross the border into the state with the hopes of a meal stop at a Runza restaurant. I always order the mushrom and swiss runza. The buns are so soft- homemade and delicious. Onion rings are better at Burger King and McDonald’s has better fries. But nothing can compare to the runza sandwich. It is always disappointing
if we happen to cross back into Colorado without at least one stop for
this tasty treat.
