My new position at work requires a lot of focus and attention to detail. After a long day sitting at the computer I find myself wanted to do something cathartic (and standing) so I’ve been working with Papier Mache and paper clay. TikiMan started out as two oatmeal containers, he has faux ferns for hair. I’m really happy with him and I’m starting to work on a big family of pumpkins for Halloween.

I love it, both your craft work and the layout! Ive never played with papier mache but I have done clay modelling and that's such fun!

This is a really fun hobby! I can see where the application of paper strips and paste would be very cathartic! Love the title and the themed elements you added. Tikiman is adorable!!

Wow you are so creative--in so many different mediums--in scrapbooking, and in clay and in paper Mache! That tiki man is awesome. The smoothness, the artistic way it was created out of 2 oatmeal containers, and the coloring--you could sell these for some extra cash! I cannot wait to see the pumpkins! Cool layout

Perfect background paper for this page. I haven't done alot of paper mache but it was rather messy. Looks like you have a real talent for this art form. It is amazing how smooth the texture looks on your TikiMan.
