This sounds like an amazing and wonderful tradition for the graduates. Using a large initial alpha with smaller text is a great bit of titlework.

Such a sweet layout! I love the little squares on the background and the dino elements are darling. The stone "C" is just perfect! Your journaling is fantastic and that is a really neat tradition.
