journaling: What a journey....When we missed our plane. We decided to go take the train,
to the Centennial Park and get some souvenirs from the World of Coca Cola. We walked 0.6 miles from Peachtree Center to the Centennial Park, we took pictures and went to World of Coca
Cola to get the souvenirs When we came out and were sharing a Coke A man from Denmark was talking to us He was explaining how he had thought the World of Coca Cola was a mall but it did not have the the items he was missing from his prepaid trip We helped him find a mall that was open He thanked us and wished us well on our journey He got up and was holding the phone looking around I looked at my Baby Girl and told her we have to help him we aren't taking Lyft back to the airport instead we will take him back to the Mall by the train stop I stood up and said Sir He did not look My Baby Girl ran to in between us and said sir He stopped and looked at her and said yes We approached him and said we will take you to the mall He was delighted and so here we went on a half mile walk as strangers While we walked he talked to us and told us his Life story He told us how he had came to here as a Foreign Student back in 1972 and was in love with a girlfriend but when he left to go back to Denmark he planned to return but instead he joined the Danish Army where he trained people for 20 years to drive all different types of transportation and now he works 100 hours a month so he can come visit for 4 weeks a year He told us about his triplets that are 28 and how when he paid for them to come to San Francisco He tells Baby Girl that was the last trip he paid for now they have ot pay for their own and she needs to prepare for the day that she has to pay for her own trips He decided since he was "married and divorced and married and divorced and available" he looked up his 1972 girlfriend and so now he visits her half of his vacation with her when we got to our fork in the road he thanked us and wished us luck on our journey he crossed the street and we turned she looked at me and said she wished she had asked for a picture so we can always remember him. I am so happy that we elected to forego the Lyft ride and take the train back home since his story truly was truly inspirational My Baby Girl thought he was so sweet.
