We loved attending live NASCAR races! We went every year in June to Infineon Raceway in Sonoma, CA for the Toyota/Save-Mart 350. The last race we attended was an exciting one. We sat on turn 9 - our favorite section of the track - and while I cheered on my boy, Kevin Harvick (29), hubby Scott cheered for Dale Earnhardt Jr. (88). There was a lot of contact between cars throughout the race. Then, as they were running full-out toward the final laps (110 in all), David Ragan (6) spun out of control at turn 7. While Jeff Gordon (24) moved to avoid him, Jimmie Johnson found an opening to slip through for the win. Granted, Harvick didn't win, but he did finish 3rd, beating Jr.'s 11th place finish. Ka-chow!
