Canada geese were eliminated in Ohio following the American Civil War, but were reintroduced in 1956 with 10 pairs. By 2015 the population was estimated to have grown to 130,000.

This journaling is SO interesting. From what I've seen in central Ohio, I think all 130K are right here! They are so messy, can be a bit nasty, but---I am totally entranced by them. I love the way you've highlighted the journaling and pictures with the paint behind them and the background paper is just great.

Love the background paper you have created with the blened text, foliage stamps and the water color smear. Really very pretty.
