Sausage and Tomato Skillet
1 lb Mild Italian Sausage 2 T balsamic vinaigrette dressing
1 can dice tomatoes 1 tsp Italian seasoning
1 tsp of garlic Salt and pepper to taste
8 oz Campanelle pasta


Cook pasta according to package directions. Slice sausage into half inch pieces and brown in a large skillet with the balsamic vinaigrette. Add un-drained can of diced tomatoes, garlic, Italian seasoning, salt and pepper. Adjust seasoning to taste and simmer for 5 minutes. Add the cooked pasta and heat through.

Journaling: This is a recipe that I found online and adjusted to the tastes of my family. It is a quick dish to through together on busy nights. It has become one of the staples in our home with its light tomato sauce and pieces of sausage.
