Parade Watching

Journaling: My favorite outdoor activity is to attend parades. Living in NYC we are lucky to have many, many parades. From the St. Patrick’s Day Parade in March, to the Mermaid Parade on Coney Island in June, the Greenwich Village Halloween parade in October, Tartan day in April, Steuben Day in September, there is something for everyone. I’ve been to most of them! My favorite is the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day parade. I finally got to see it live several years ago, with grandstand seating. It ranks as one of the best parades I’ve been to.

How cool is this!!!! What a fabulous moment to be there [in the cold, the crowd... oh my} but it is NYC after all! LOVE the photo you chose. The crop of Mr. T and the Macy's balloon is spot on. Awesome colors on your page plus page composition with the placement of the placed clustered elements. You nailed this!

This page grabbed me from the gallery thumbs Jenn, it is magnificent. I love how the entire page is taken up and the colours are so striking. The priority of space given to the photo is wonderful as is the gorgeous cluster created at the bottom

Fantastic photo, makes such a statement. Love the mixed alpha title on top, and your great cluster w that pieced eyelet ribbon and scatters accents it perfectly. Grand stand seating is a dream come true. But now I'm curious about that Mermaid parade!!

Gorgeous bottom cluster. I like the way it starts our full and lush in the corner and gradually thins out as it moves across the page.

I loved watching the Disney parades when daughter Karen was in them, it was so much fun. We watch the Macy's parade on the television every year, but it is always fabulous to watch them in real life. This is a great layout - the stitching and beautiful cluster in all the fall colours work wonderfully with the picture. Great work, Jennifer.
