Fun and Silly!

3 different kits, 5 different colors & 3 pages later, here is my final layout!! Hope you all like it!

*EDIT* forgot to mention that I grey-scaled this kit to get the monotone effect - I'm actually going to switch it back to color for printing

Journaling:
Today I had the opportunity to chaperone my son's First Grade Field Trip! I had my favorite breakfast - Coffee!! Then snapped a pic of the rainy view outside the kitchen window before heading off for our adventure! We went to Lakeview Orchard to pick some apples. Even though it was gloomy, I had so much fun watching the kids and being silly!

Too cute - great kit, isn't it? Allows you to be, well, fun and silly! I like the first grade feel to your layout (by first grade, I mean the theme, not scrapping style of course, the scribbles, notepaper, etc). It is very fitting for the photos and topic. Well done Smile

love all the doodle-ly stuff on the note paper...i see you pulling your hair! and love how you did the TODAY with the note paper too..LO reflects your whacky day lol...(so...were you smarter than a first grader?) .... cute fun lo!

Great LO! Love the kit! Snips and Snails makes some of the best stuff!!!

Love the Title work and the use of the caption bubbles and the scribbles work great with your theme! Congratulations on making it the final round and good luck this week!!!

Love your layout and creative journalling. It looks like a 'real' scrapbook page, rather than a digital one. Great take on the challenge.

You made me want to go on a fieldtrip just to be able to scrap in this style! LOVE the playful page. Also the fact that in the midst of everything going on on the page you made room for some ' white* space.

LOL! I love your picture. I went with my sons preschool class to an apple orchard last month. It was pretty fun to watch all the kids run and play. Anyhow I love the notebook paper and the whole feel of this LO. Fantastic!
