The Read Me A Blanket summer reading program was started by my mom, Stephanie Jo Thompson, as a collaboration with Kazoodles toy store and Vintage Books in Vancouver, WA.  The program was started as a way to give back to the community and do something positive after Mom was diagnosed with cancer.  The book page is from the book she wrote about the program.  She passed away in 2014, but the program lives on, now coordinated by Mary Sisson of Kazoodles.

I used the challenge template by Snickerdoodle Designs, the stitches from the “Rainy Day Freebee” mini from Clever Monkey Graphics, and a paper from the “Captured” kit by CathyK Designs.
