With the day of Kate’s First Holy Communion, approaching I pulled up all my dressmaking skills to make her dress. I have to say I was thrilled with the results - butterfly sleeves, lots of pin tucks, covered, looped buttons she looked lovely as did Raewyn when she wore it two years later. I then packed it away for it only to come out again, many years later for Izzy’s big day in 2013 - amazingly it was still “as good as new, only the sash needed replacing as it had yellowed. With Becky wearing it in 2017 it has certainly become a family heirloom!
