Journaling: If April showers bring May flowers, what do May showers bring? Afternoon rain became a bit predictable and too common. The grass grew bright green and tall with few dry days to mow. How fast the huge thistle grew in front of the front picture window was pretty shocking too!
I use the area in the back of the house, where the big window is, as my ”reading and meditation area.” It offers a big window to the back yard with no street and a much more private view. This day I watched the wind stop and the rays of sun that were streaming through the partly cloudy afternoon disappear. Then the wind picked up. I could hear it upsetting the trees through the window. It was quickly joined by large raindrops and then pouring rain! Then the little rays of sun started to return.
