Every year from the summer after kindergarten through the summer after high school, my mom’s extended family would go camping at Lake Kachess, in the Cascade Mountains of Washington State. The first picture is my mom, uncle, grandparents, and aunt in our favorite campsite along Gale Creek. The second picture is my mom setting up things in our tent. The third picture is Mom, myself, Grandma, my aunt, my two cousins, and Grandpa under the starry sky at the lake at night.
