JOURNALING (near title) born 1/4/15; died 9/18/18; (on labels) - Samples of my mother’s handwriting with her “chick”. “Go-Go Nanny” was her Malibu racing name. A copy of her last driver’s license when she was almost 96 yrs. old. She also drove the little race cars at Malibu. She was a Nanny for Nicholas and Sean from their birth. They continued to visit her after she retired. My mother and father were married for 10 years before they had us - twins. He died in August 1965. She and her gentleman friend, Whitney, had a lot of wonderful times together. My Mother’s Father, John “Cap” Smith, was a coal miner. He died in January 1965. When she worked for Lane Aviation, she took flying lessons. As part of the Senior group Golden Girls, she cheered at races and played the drums when the group sang & danced.
