Every year, around Thanksgiving time, my husband would make his grandma’s pumpkin pie and pumpkin bread. And every year the house smelled absolutely amazing. I’m not a huge fan of pumpkin flavored anything, so when we moved into our house, I decided to start making different breads. One particular type became a household favorite, cinnamon swirl bread. Now, alongside all that pumpkin, a little cinnamon swirl shows up, and the house smells exactly like home.
