JOURNALING: High Springs Playhouse opened their season with “A Party to Murder”. I attended a matinee on Sunday, October 13, 2019. The ambiance was immediately set with spider webs and crime scene tape as you entered the theatre. In the play, six people have come in secret on Halloween to play a murder-mystery game at a rustic isolated cottage. Secret passageways, incriminating letters, hidden compartments, and a 25-year-old unsolved mystery twist and turn toward the unexpected conclusion - all as Dame Agatha Christie looks on from her portrait hung over the mantel.

The Cast gathered outside after the production to greet the audience and pose for pictures. Anthony Wilhoite, Steve Bates, Sita Selvester, Rebecca Yarbrough, Eli Lamon, and Amber Janae.
