Fury of the Falls Trail Run/Walk, Wahkeenah Falls to the top of Multnomah Falls and back, Columbia River Gorge, Oct. 31, 2004. Since it was Halloween, we could wear costumes for this walk, so I dressed up as a hobo. Mom came along to drive me out there and cheer me on, plus take pictures (of course). It was pouring buckets, so there were additional tents set up at the shelter for our pancake breakfast before the walk. I walked with a man who took time to enjoy nature, too.
