The last few years, but especially this last year, life has thrown me a few curveballs in a row. People (including myself) have shown their true colors, and that has led to broken relationships between myself and a few people, most of whom I considered family at one point. My "true" family, my family of choice, has still remained in my life and is helping me through things. The cats that Scott and I got together when we first lived together have all passed, three in this last calendar year, and now we're left with the "new crew," the oldest two of whom are nine years old and will be ten this year. This is a new time in my life, and in our life together as a family.
God has always provided strength, and I know I can rely on Him through everything, because He is in everything and works through everything. I don't know the whole plan. He does. I just need to trust and stand firm in my belief that He knows what He's doing, even when it doesn't seem like that's the case.
