Journaling: Randy and I made sure to view the Mardis Gras dog parade presented by the Mystic Krewe of Barkus. This year’s theme was Bark to the Future! Ha! We found a nice spot to wait in Jackson Squared and enjoyed listening to the buskers and watching the dancers before the parade began. The parade opened with a group of drag queens dressed as Cruella DeVille, followed by high school marching bands, professional musicians, and both people and canines in costume!
