Journalling: Every city has them, those buildings, monuments and landmarks that immediately identify where you are. In Paris, three of them are distant from one another but together they say “Paris” to me. The Eiffel Tower, soaring above the city, the solid mass of the Arc de Triomphe and in Montmarte, the red blades of the Moulin Rouge windmill are instantly recognizable and bring back wonderful memories.
