Pineapple Upsidedown Dump Cake


1 can crushed pineapple
1 box pineapple cake mix
1 stick butter
Optional Topping brown sugar
Use a 3-4 quart crockpot on low for 3-4 hours until bubbly
and golden brown.
Dump in the crushed pineapple. Even out layer.
Dump the box of cake mix. Even out layer.
Cut butter into small pieces and evenly spread it over
the top. Optional Topping: Sprinkle brown sugar over the top of the butter.


Variations:
The best part of this recipe is how versatile it is. You can substitute the pineapple with other pie filling or canned fruit. Replace the pineapple cake mix with any other cake mix. So your choices are endless.


You can also choose another cooking method.
Dump ingredients in a 9 x 13-inch dish and cook at
350 F for 45 - 60 minutes until bubbly and golden.
Camping use a dutch oven and charcoal briquettes.
Use 12 under the dutch oven and 12 on the lid. Use heatproof equipment. You need to check for doneness.
