Journaling: The baking of the Krumkake is an annual family tradition. This year it was passed down from the matriarch, Mom, thru the elder females, Carla, Jen and Michelle, to the younger females, Lacy, Anne and Lexi. Knowing this would be the last time in Mom’s kitchen made it bittersweet. Knowing we were passing on a legacy made it wonderful.

What a wonderful tribute! Love the journaling (I always love your journaling!). Your pictures are fabulous - especially the tight one of the Krumkake. Traditions are wonderful - sad that it was the last time in your mother's kitchen, but now it is celebrated in your kitchens. You must be so excited about that.

Your layout pulled on my hearstrings... how wonderful to continue the family tradition by passing down your family recipe. I have never heard of Krumkake before, but it looks delicous. Fantastic page for this week's challenge.
