Norwegian Constitution Day, 17. mai 2020, parades, city-wide events cancelled! Norwegians sing their national anthem at 1:00 pm, royals take a drive around Oslo, American celebrations go digital. The first picture is a screenshot from the main news page for the celebrations from NRK.no, and the second picture is a screenshot of the e-mailed program for Grieg Lodge in Portland, OR, USA, which held an online celebration on Zoom. The song on the right is Norway’s national anthem. The Norwegian flag on the butterflies is a picture my nephew took on Norwegian Constitution Day (May 17th) 2013.
