It's early April and NJ & NY have basically shut down due to COVID. When you live amid bustle and activity, the change is brutally evident. There's no one out walking or running. Traffic is almost nonexisitant. Restaurants, stores, movie theatres, schools … the list goes on … they are all shut down. When you do go somewhere that's open, people avoid you. Normal life has ceased to exist. And while most businesses are closed, we are still open (although with limited hours). As I'm leaving work this day, the storm that had been pouring buckets suddenly cleared and a double rainbow appeared. I had just been wishing for an ordinary day again. Maybe this was a sign that I will get my wish one day.
