Missing You
here is the journaling:
The new normal .. social distancing .. what that means to me is that I can no longer see my grandkids once a week. It means that I can FaceTime them, sit outside their window to talk to them, or talk to them through the screens on the car window. Honestly, it feels like a punishment and all I want is one ordinary day again. A day to take them to the diner for breakfast, take them to the park, read them a story. But the worst part about this new normal is not being able to hug and kiss and squeeze the stuffing out of them. Every day I pray for the new normal to end and to give me back the ordinary days.
