July 26-29, 1984: Our first year camping at Lake Kachess near Snoqualmie Pass in the central Washington Cascades. The campgrounds had just gotten totally finished and it was the second summer they were fully open. It became a yearly tradition for our extended family (and some friends), like it did for many families. It was always fun to see my second cousins and to spend time with my mom's cousins, as well as catch up with my first cousins. We always tried to camp right on the creek, usually at campsite 18, so that we could float the rafts there and into the lake.
I used a template from “Camp Templates” by Kristmess, 2 papers from “Explore the Great Outdoors” by Laurie’s Scraps, 2 elements & 3 papers from “Gone Glamping” by the GingerBread Ladies/Down This Road Designs/Clever Monkey Graphics/Miss Fish/Pixelily, a template from “Branching Out” by Scraps N Pieces, and a paper from “Taking Care” by MagsGraphics.
