Kachess was totally water in 1990.  We spent almost all the time down in the Lagoon with the rafts and O’Neal’s boat.  Karen and Kristin had fun feeding their newest cousin, Mikey.  Got our favorite site by the creek and two others as well.  That works out so nicely for the kids and the adults.  Karen and Stevie tried out their new tent, and Corey tried out his.  Ted and Clare tried out a motel room at Cle Elum.  It seemed really strange not to have the RV at Kachess.  Stevie actually had to make the pancakes on the campstove…luckily Terry and Nancy brought theirs along, too.  This was the year for stove breakdowns:  Janet’s didn’t even get there, and Stevie’s took ill after the first day and worked off and on.  The top photo is Janet, Kristin, Danny, Andy, Laura, Brent, and Nancy having fun in the "lagoon" (unofficially named by Karen & Kristin this year) created by the high water levels where the creek enters the lake.  The trees that were normally on dry land were half-submerged, and the water there was over 6 feet deep in places!  The second photo is Kristin & Karen feeding Mikey at the campsite.

I used the April 2019 ALFLT template by Memories by Digital Design, 4 papers from “Dapper Chap” by Laurie’s Scraps, 1 paper & 3 elements from “Explore the Great Outdoors” by Laurie’s Scraps, and 2 elements from “Adventurous” by Just Because Studio.  The font is “Yippy.”  This page matches one I did last summer about the same trip, and most of the journaling was written down by my mom in a family scrapbook that I was photographing a few days ago.
