This ATC is for an alphabet challenge at another site. I'm doing television shows as my theme this go-round. JOURNALING: "Hawaiian Eye" was a ABC/Warner Bros. detective series that ran from 1959 to 1963 (4 seasons, 134 episodes). Half-Hawaiian Tom Lopaka (Robert Conrad) is co-owner of "Hawaiian Eye" a private investigation/security firm in Honolulu. In exchange for providing security to the luxurious Hawaiian Village Hotel, the company has their offices there. Ukulele-playing cab driver Kim Quisado (Poncie Ponce) has "connections" all over the island and provides the company with the "word on the street." Cricket Blake (Connie Stevens) is a photographer and singer in the hotel's Shell Bar. Tracy Steele (Anthony Eisley), is the suave co-owner of "Hawaiian Eye."  The show was one of several similar WB shows of the era set in "exotic" locales: Hollywood-based "77 Sunset Strip", New Orleans' "Bourbon Street Beat", and Miami's "Surfside 6". They were all actually shot on the Warner Bros. "back lot.
